Teaching Workload for PhD Students

We want to evaluate the teaching workload of PhD students of the Institute of Physics and want to make sure that the workload is approximately equal.

We try to gain some insight into the process of distributing the teaching duties of the PhD students of the Institute of Physics in order to make the workload as equal as possible. It was estimated that a PhD student has to teach during four semesters. Currently, some students exceed this number by far, whereas others teach way less than expected.

Please let us know what you think about this topic and how equal workloads can be ensured.
