The bike ride takes about 35 minutes and is ~11 km long. We plan to meet at 4:30pm in front of the physics high rise and arrive at Alte Küferei at ~5:15pm
For those worried about riding home in the dark or perhaps indulging in a little too much wine.... a train station (Schallstadt or Ebringen) is only 10 minutes by bike.
For those unfamiliar with what a Strauße is: a Strauße, Straußi or Straußwirtschaft is a seasonal wine tavern run by winegrowers and winemakers themselves, where they serve their own wine and regional food. They can be found in the wine-growing regions in German-speaking countries.
